Oxfam seeks vintage style bloggers –
In 2015, Oxfams online shop ad campaign featured six real Oxfam customers.
This year Oxfam is calling on all vintage style bloggers.
Sophie Bratt, project coordinator, encourages all those glamorous vintage blogging ladies ( & gents) who blog about their vintage passions, to enter a fabulous competition – Decades of Vintage Fashion and Style Competition – #VintageFaceandStyle
Why?
Well, apart from encouraging a major charitable cause; should you win, you get to be styled by Hello’s Nicky Clarkes team ; your make-up and hair done by celebrity make-up artist to the stars – Rosie Lewis; and finally a glamorous photoshoot taken by Vogue/Elle photographer Alex Lambrechts.
What vintage blogger could resist?
To enter –
Send your name, email address and a link to a new blog post that contains an image of your gorgeous self, showcasing the fashion and style of your chosen decade.
Send it all to [email protected].
The blog (no longer than 250 words) should say why you’d love to be selected.
Full terms and conditions can be downloaded here.
Closing date for entries is 15 March 2016 so get going !
The independent judge for the competition is Victoria Moss, Senior Fashion News and Feature Writer at The Daily Telegraph.
Winners need to be available Saturday 16 April for the photo shoot at Oxfam’s incredible sorting hub Wastesaver in Batley, West Yorkshire.
Wastesaver is the main hub for all things vintage at Oxfam. There you’ll get unique clothing donations – from high street fashion to vintage gems. At Wastesavers they will be sorted and then listed online.
That’s all !
