Egyptian Bob
The Egyptian bob is a straight cut bob all around the head, worn with bangs only. It is not supposed to be waved, as shown in above illustration.
The Boyish Bob
The boyish bob is performed in the above manner. Part the hair to the preference of the customer. Then cut the desired length all around the head. Divide the lower back hair into layers and tapered close to the head. The boyish bob gives a round shape to the head, resembling in a way a man’s style hair cut.
Shingle Bob Hairstyle
Cut the front hair about 8 inches long. Gradually taper the back hair about six inches, so that the cut ends of the hair are exposed. The top layer falls with its points so as to meet with the points of the first layer. The front hair and top hair should be waved as the Shingle Bob styles require a Marcel wave, which completes this fashionable bobbed hair dress for certain types.
Curly Bob
Cut the Curly Bob hairstyle in the same manner as a Shingle Bob. Leave the top hair perfectly straight. While the ends of the hair, sides and back are curled under.
