1940s & 1950s Nostalgia Make-up –
When you visit Besame Cosmetics, on every product page, you can drool over some stunning photographs of happy customers who all share one thing in common – vintage style and pizazz ! ( OK that’s two things).
I’ve picked out some of my favourites from among many many beautiful make-up looks ; my criteria for this post being those girls who achieved the look of ordinary everyday 1940s women. Helena Rubinstein once said – ” enhance your beauty – don’t paint over it !” which applies to these girls !
Gabriella D Eighteen | Australia | History obsessed & dressed.

I think Gabriella achieved a fabulous 1940s look here, with down to that Betty Bacall gaze ! My favourite.
