Awesome. Those old stocking were toughter than modern ones. I was wondering if anyone know what women wore on their legs when temperatures got very cold. Where I live, temperatures get down to -30C (-22F) without the wind and my grandmother grew up in Winnipeg where it gets down to -40C (-40F). You'll be dead wearing light cotton or nylon stockings at those temperatures

Beautifully gorgeous post. The vintage pictures are very beautiful. Hosiery and stocking were gorgeous back then as they are today.
